Further on, we come across the slim Doña Otxanda Tower, a military building which houses the Natural Science Museum. From here we take the Correria street to visit the Palace of the Gobeo- Guevara- San Juan family, inside which is the Provincial Archeological Museum.
Opposite the Palace is a beautiful brick building known as the “Portalon”. And further on we come accross the Hurtado de Anda Tower.
We leave the Palace House of the Marquis of Fresno to the right and we arrive at St. Mary’s Cathedral or Old Cathedral, a gothic building currently under restoration. Our walk around medieval Vitoria continues along Fray Zacarías Martínez street.
To the right is the elegant Escoriaza - Esquíbel Palace, and a bit further on, the Montehermoso Palace, an important cultural centre.
